Jersey Brewery - Mary Ann Beers |
| Liberation Ale |

This cask conditioned traditional real ale is quite light golden in colour with an EBC of 17 (most lagers are 8-10 and ales 20+) and is brewed at 4.0% ABV. It is brewed with Maris Otter Pale Ale malt and a low percentage of crystal and wheat malt, for flavour and head retention qualities. The bitterness, which is not too high at 25 is derived from English Goldings hops, whilst the floral, citric (orange/grapefruit) hop aroma comes from the use of two continental varieties, namely Hallertau Hersbrucker and Styrian Goldings.
Liberation Ale is now available throughout the Channel Islands and has been extremely well received since its launch in time for the annual Liberation Day celebrations; the overall flavour and zesty nature of the beer has proved very popular. Liberation Ale will now be the flagship traditional ale in all of our outlets. |

| Mary Ann Best |

Mary Ann Best is a dark bitter ale with a pronounced chocolate character, but with the roasted maltiness perfectly balanced by a floral hop provided by English Fuggles and Goldings.
This session beer drinks fuller than it's 3.6 ABV would suggest. |
| Mary Ann Special |

Mary Ann Special is a pale ale with a sweet, fruity taste with malty / biscuity undertones provided by the use of crystal malt. The balanced after-palate is of subtle fragrant bitterness provided by a blend of finest English and European hops.
This 4.5% ABV beer has a full but rounded character. |

| Christmas Ale |

Christmas Ale features all the ingredients you would expect to find in a Christmas pudding recipe.
The recipe includes orange zest, mixed spice, raisins, currents and sultanas. The brew will be stored in casks which have been rubbed with Black Butter to allow the flavours to develop. The 4.8% ABV easy-drinking beer has a rich, ruby red colour and is especially good enjoyed with winter warming meals and mince pies.
